Q - Is the center open for visitation?

Yes. The center is open for visitation. However, currently the center is encouraging visitors to schedule outdoor visitation and window visits when possible. The center is attempting to limit indoor visitation due to higher risk of COVID-19 transmission in indoor environment.

Q - How can I schedule an outdoor visitation?

Visitors can either call the center to schedule an outdoor visit or use the Greymar system. To use the Greymar system, go to the visitor’s page, key in your information, and pick available date and time.

Q - What indoor visits are allowed?

Compassionate care situations where the resident is not able to go outside. In these situations, families can visit the resident in a designated area indoors or in the resident’s room if resident is unable to leave room, and preferably without the presence of a roommate.

Q - Will visitors be screened before visiting their loved ones?

Yes. All visitors who enter the facility for either indoor or outdoor visitation will be screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., temperature checks, questions about and observations of signs or symptoms). Denial of entry of those with signs or symptoms or those who have had close contact with someone with COVID-19 infection in the prior 14 days (regardless of the visitor’s vaccination status).

Q - Do visitors need to be tested before visiting?

When the positivity rate is medium to high, visitors may be required to test before visiting. If a visitor has no recent COVID test (less than 72 hours), then they may be tested by the center before visiting.

Q - Will visitors be required to follow infection control practices?

Yes. All visitors will be required to practice hand hygiene (use of alcohol-based hand rub is preferred), social distancing at least six feet between persons and face covering or mask (covering mouth and nose) must be worn by both visitors, residents, and staff. Visitors who are unable to adhere to the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention will not be permitted to visit and will be asked to leave.

Q - Can residents who are COVID-19 positive or under investigation for COVID-19 receive visitors?

No. Residents who are positive cannot receive visitors. Also, residents who are under investigation for covid symptoms cannot receive visitors. Family member are encouraged to schedule zoom or facetime visits with residents who fall under this category.
